Thumb Day

Today as we were going through Lake Huron, Emily said, "Mom, we are going around the thumb of Michigan"

Thumb day was eventful....Thomas got seasick all over the couch- the girls flew off the couch onto the pilot seat with Dad and I was literally left holding the bag.  I had to strip Thomas and myself.  Whew, I am glad we are now safely tied to a dock.

The coolest thing about going down the St Clair River is that  one side is Sarnia, Ontario and the other side is Port Huron, Michigan. It is fun to ride down the river and look at one country on one side and the next country on the other. The Blue Water bridge connects the two countries.

When we were in the middle of Lake Huron with no land in sight, it was amazing to reflect on the vastness of these great lakes.  This led me to praise the Creator, who designed it all.  It is amazing how such a great body of water makes one feel so small, yet to Him it is a mere footstool.

  1. How are you transmitting this? Hotspots in port or is it a satellite on your boat? Can't say enough about how cool it is what you are doing.
