Wax on , Wax off

For the last two days , Tom has had all of us waxing the boat!! It has been a big job.

We have learned about physical labor , toiling in the hot sun. It is all part of this "growing experience." We are grateful to have this boat and are trying our best to take good care of it.  Before this, the only thing I had waxed was my eyebrows!!

Test run

We are all happy to be back on the water. Tom has been working diligently to prepare for the next phase of our journey. We took the boat out yesterday for a "test run". Thomas said before we left, " I love hearing you say- batten down the hatches- then hearing the engines start and run.". Anna commented as we pulled out of the channel, " It feels good to be a boat girl again!". While anchored out in the Atlantic ocean, Emily says, " I just love the color of this water! I love swimming in the ocean!".
