Eerie IS eerie

Lake Eerie is appropriately named.

After passing by Detroit on the St. Clair River, we entered Eerie and wow it immediately became rough. It is a strange lake because it is so shallow ( only 30 feet) and so large. Thankfully we managed to escape any seasickness.
This gave us a great opportunity to discuss how amazing it would be if we were on rough water and afraid, and then have Jesus tell the wind and waves to be still. And the wind and waves obeyed. Emily said," That would be frightening, too, to witness that."  I totally agree!

In the great lakes family game....Emily entered Eerie first. Go Emily!

The kids got their first glimpse of Cedar Point- they are so excited to go there tomorrow.
